The Tamil Buddhist monks didn`t learn from the Sinhala monks, but the Tamil Buddhists taught the Sinhala monks and they are the one who brought the Buddhism to China, Japan and to the far east.
The Tamil Buddhism is older than the Sinhala Buddhism. This is the problem with you Singhalese, you always twist the facts to suit your anti Tamil racism. The ancient Kings of Sri Lanka didn`t call themselves Sinhalese until Monk Mahanama cooks up the Sinhala story.
