59th division`s movement along North-East coastal line will come to halt very soon. 57th & 58th divisions will have to stop their forward march once they reach Vellankulam along North-West coast. Then what?
Unless, SLA do a amphibious landing at Ponaryn, there will be a stale mate. LTTE knows this clearly and waiting for such a landing. On the other hand SLA is waiting for counter attacks on Welioya front to bring Northern forces down A-9 or amphibious landing at Ponaryn. Things are coming to a very decisive point.
