[I hate to say this but I do agree with you. We cannot blame the Tamil leaders of the past for their blind belief that the south were honest and just. We have to recognize the problems we are facing today and look at the future.
To do this we have to accept the fact that Sinhalese are and never were trust worthy. The constitution of the country was written by the Sinhalese for the Sinhalese. Based on the logic of numbers the current system will never be fair to Tamils. So Tamils have to do some thing about it. It might not be perfect but VP took over that challenge and we should be thankful.] Political leaders Sinhalese/Tamils in the past/present have done everything for them to be in power. Constitution gives equal power/opportunities to all community. Please don t distort the facts. Velupilliai Prabhakaran (a non Sri Lankan) wants the capture power with the help of Tamil nationalism. |
