[Babu`s father abducted by a white van
(Lanka-e-News, July 04, 2008, 9.00 AM) Police Media Spokesman Ranjith Gunasekara said that a person said to be the son of Babu, the suspected assassin of President R. Premadasa, had been abducted by a group that came in a white van identifying themselves as police officers. The 70 year old man victim a priest in a Hindu temple in Rambukkana. Police Spokesman said that Rambukkana police station had verified that it was not involved in the incident. He further said that two teams were investigating the abduction and still there was not a major breakthrough in it.] |
