[It is a nothing but joke to invite foreign powers to solve problems within the country. That shows nothing but how poor our thinking is. That is a disgrace for our independence because we cannot keep kissing foreign a s s es for everything. Me and I am sure almost everybody like that we end dealing with Norway.]
The reality is that we need financial aid from international community in times of diaster like flood and Tsunami AND even for the development. What TMVP`S thinking behind this is that if we depend on central govt for foreign aid to be routed through the aid may not reach eastern province and may be utilised for other province where majority are sinhalese so they will benefit at the expense of tamil people.
