[Sri Lanka from the 6.3 magnitude earthquake which occurred in the sea, some 4,000 km south ]
This is very far to give an impact from 6.3 quake.
The only possibility is Tsunami, but that too not possible due to low intensity.
Generally, region southeast to Sri Lanka, from Indonesian Islands, earthquakes are very common. After the tsunami disaster, SL is taking the matter seriously, but the probability to occur similar disaster in near future is less than 0.1% I think.
