This is where GOSL has to practice a high level of diplomacy. GOSL must show to the IC, that its doing a pure and honest try to start talks. As a symbolic gesture, war can be stopped for 48h (about), and invite LTTE for some level of talk. This will put the GOSL on a better position. It will be more effective than, send more boys to death. LTTE already know well, MR is tough and war is always within the cards. East election win must use at highest level to gain the IC attention. |
