[Also, he proved Sri Lanka is a nice location to live for any advance person, not to Sri Lankans those who already know that, but to many other people around the world with little or no knowledge of our country.] This is one good aspect of Sinhalese. (I havn`t observed Tamils in Sri Lanka) Sinhalese make friends and mix with westerners very well. Many diplomats who live in Colombo does not give negative comments about Sinhalese due to this reason. In Australia I find Sinhalese get friendly with white people easily than Tamils. This is my observation anyway. |
