[I am sure the LTTE is much better than these guys... give me a break] from the early 70s, LTTE had a strict policy of not targeting Sinhalese civilians until 1985. after Jaffna library burned in 1981, July 1983 violence, Manal Aru violence in 1984 and other attacks by GOSL, no Sinhalese were killed in retaliation. only after VP`s village (Valvettithurai) was attacked in May 1985 with about 70 civilians being killed, VP said enough is enough and ordered the Anuradhapura massare, which was the first time Sinhalese civilians became vicims |
