In the previous visits to Sri Lanka Japan`s envoy Akashi refused to listen to the Human Rights Watch and other NGOs hoping against the hope that SRi Lankan govt will become reasonable, investigate the human rights violations committed by the Security Forces and paramilitaries and abandon military jingoism.
This govt is led by the hardliners such as JHU, JVP and his MR`s new appointees and no sign of wiser counsel even prevail.
