All these days and months the SLG put all the blames on LTTE. During the last 2 yrs many murders and abductions took place, why hasn`t a single culprit produced before the court? Withdrawal from CFA may induce a sense of suspicion as to the motive of the Sri Lankan leader. US almost crippled LTTE by denying them finance and arms that diaspora bought out of their hard earned money. Yet, the extremist president and his appointees went for the destruction of Tamils instead of seeking a peaceful path to resolve the 50-year old conflict.
IC must either impose a ban on arms and aid/loan to Sri Lanka and enable UN to send monitors to prevent slaughtering of Tamils by SLA/ paramilitaries
OR
de-proscribe LTTE so that it can defend Tamils and ensure the supply of basic essentials to Tamil areas.
