Jayalalitha is a wingeing old hag who is trying desperately to make a political comeback using the LTTE as a scapegoat to curry favour with the Congress party in the hope that the DMK govt will be sacked.
There is certainly evidence that the LTTE is gaining a foothold in Tamil Nadu again but this is with the tacit approval of the DMK. I am sure the Congress party is aware of this but they can`t antagonise the DMK which is propping up the Congress led coalition at the centre.
The LTTE is in a very good position to exploit this and why shouldn`t it. GOSL may scream as long and as loud as it wants about this but the DMK support is more important to the Congress party than the wishes of the government of a corrupt, unruly and failing state of Sri lanka.
