calling and waiting for the US to join forces with VP against a democratically elected Government is not helpful. Bush has proven his attitude with Iraq, Guantanamo Bay and so on. The liberation of Kuweit had been the last good thing that comes to mind. But you may imagine, that for Bush jnr. your VP is more likely the Saddam and Mahinda like Musharaf. It is up to the Sri Lankan Tamils to give them a better profile that allows peace, external support and new partnerships. |
