It`s probably not a myth thamil. There are so called `deviants` in every religious community. But I haven`t read a news article of any Buddhist monks sleeping with young boys.
But that doesnt mean it doesn`t exist.
Homointimacyuality has been a part of humanity for a long long time. It would be wrong to believe that it doesn`t exist in certain communities.
And paedophilia is not relegated simply to Catholics or Buddhists. Hindu priests have been doing it for a long time with the devdasi tradition practiced in Hindu kovils.
