[i have serious doubts in `Colombo among top Tech outsourcing cities` for various reasons.] 100% Agree i think SL is in a very low stage in compared to the other countries in the region even Maldives do better than us [SLT is not a stable provider with loads of downtimes, inconsistent speed and a lousy customer service.] SLT ? hahaha you never know some BIG merchant ship comes and drop the anchor on a SLT under water submarine cable line and drag the whole thing with it, lolzzzzzzz and the whole SL is in total internet black out, i think this had happened few times lolzzzzzz SLT lads are funny bunch of people aren`t they? and they kept filling up with ADSL users without expanding the Bandwidth resources more like the SL Electricity board filling up the National grid with more and more users without really increasing the electricity generation. And so the whole thing becomes unstable, and the IT idiots at SLT hardly understand this simple logic. When i was down in SL last year, I had to contact SLT customer suport regarding an internet connection issue and the SLT support guy was like `Oh what`s that..? Wait ill ask from the engineer, (lolzzz) and even he was unable to solve my problem` So there you go , that`s the real sorry situation in SL IT industry. YOu really cannot expect much from the local universities as their closed most of the time and all the students are killing each other and get them selves involved in unrelated activities without focusing on their studies hmmmm so when these mutts goes out and start working in the real field, they will be in total black out lolzzzz Overall i really don`t think SL is the the right place when it comes to IT and ecommerce, we`re wayyyyyyyyyyy behind and we need to improve in so many areas. |
