You talked bull in SFs space about that failed military operation as you call it. Looks like you don`t have a clue about the hardships and the danger attached with intel operations. I`m not in a position and I don`t have all the information to provide you and I don`t think mlitary intel will go on public revealing their clandastine operations. That`s not the way it happens in intel operations. Some of the persons are not enrolled in defence forces (to keep their identity secret) The weapons issued for these operations are not issued in regular ways (there`s no record to trace the weapons) If these guys die, only a handful of persons know about it. These operations are known only by a couple of persons. And these are the facts we know, and some of the facts we don`t know and we wont know. Putting the blame on possible JVP attack on Ranil is pretty hilarious answer. We can still see the aftermath of that betrayal, a couple of weeks ago there was a rumor about the safety of Cpt Nilam. Of course you don`t want to see it as a damage because it makes the political party you love and worship so much go naked in public. I don`t think Ranil ordered it, but he should have acted as if he got some balls and spine in that incident. He just let these young men die like animals and kept his mouth shut. We expect a lot more than from a leader, have you ever thought why he is so unpopular and why MR is so popular among troops? Even if these soldiers die, they would like to have a honarable death, but not a death that being ignored by the leaders who they look up to. May be you can`t imagine the low morale it can cause among the regular soldiers. I hope SF can come up with the exact amount of damage it did to MI ops (or at least the things he can reveal in a public forum), but you will simply go saying, ooh only nine guys were killed. You are lucky that none of them were from your family and you didn`t even know them. Put down those green glasses for a while and see the picture in true colors. |
