[Good News]

June 16) The LTTE front Tamil Youth Organisation-UK known as TYO-UK operating from a post box address which was responsible for organising the LTTE demonstration in London in July 2006 displaying cut-outs of the LTTE supremo Pirapakaran and mobilising a LTTE police force in the presence of the authoritative Metropolitan police, held a rally in front of the UNICEF office in Holborn, London on 13 June 2007. The leaflet widely distributed in London invited people to participate in large numbers to protest against innocent Tamil students being killed in Sri Lanka. The leaflet did not mention who is killing the Tamil students. In their publicity campaign in the national media the organisers said over 500 people will be attending the demonstration against the United Nations. Five hours of demonstration from 12 noon to 5.00pm was only attended by 30 Tamils.

[This is sin and funny]

The desperate demo organisers had to ask the two fun loving Australian tourists walking on the busy summer street to hold the banners for them for photographic display in their media. This photograph has been published in the LTTE websites stating ?white people in large numbers are joining the protest organised by the Tamils?.

A Tamil lawyer who witnessed the event said ?it was another fiasco of ongoing fiascos of the desperate LTTE in London?. None of the LTTE media gave full coverage about the failed demonstration except trying to score points by publishing the above photograph
