[A powerful explosion damaged an electricity transformer in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Tuesday, police said. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
An explosive device had been rigged up to the transformer at Colombo`s Orugodawatte area, police said adding that an investigation was under way.
The blast came as the capital was on alert for Tamil Tiger bomb attacks.]
