This should be considered by both contenders as an ideal opportunity to present their election pledges to the entire Nation. They must not sling mud at each other and take the occasion to be HONEST & STRAIGHT FORWARD. The candidates must specifically INFORM the country of their intentions in solving the terrorist activities by the ltte, how to improve the security country, how to manage the economy, how to raise the living standards of the ordinary Sri Lankan as well etc. etc.... If they take a few minutes during this televised debate to present the country of their assets and their state of health, it will be an added asset to their chances of winning the Presidential race..... |
