No point making a big issue about this, australia are not going to have the world cup taken from them
on the other hand, i have lot of respect for gilchrist. i remember in the SF of 2003 WC, where he walked off when the umpire failed to signal him out. other occassions, gilchrist would admit a ball did not carry after an edge, when umpire would find it difficult to make a decision. overall gilchrist is a top sportsman and a role model for the sport.
