I tend to agree with what Sakthi says except that India has to play a much more delicate role here, as attacking or destroying LTTE`s air power by India might force LTTE into desperation which could be a real catrostrophe for all particularly the civilians. It has to be done in a much more shuttle manner, perhaps through different tactics like what India did in 2004 when LTTE tried to walk into Jaffna. Having said that I would not believe even in desperation LTTE would make another blunder vis-a-vis their activities in India. I do not think LTTE is that foolish. I think what Palitha Kohana or the GOSL is trying to do is to wind up India against the LTTE so that GOSL`s job became a little more easier. I think India`s think tank is much more smarter than just falling for this little tactic. Perhaps the Indian military planners may be already working on facing any such evantuality, rightly so.
