Those who criticise CFA are doing so because it was proved to be so successful within a very short period of time and it ended the war so abruptly and the people went about doing their daily quite normal. The SLFP, JVP and JHU and the war mongers making money out of war did not like it at all because they feard that UNP will win all elections thereafter. They knew that UNP is much smarter than them. They went to town with different stories of `country is being sold`. They also said that it was not peace that the people want but honorable peace(whatever it means). One should ask MR if it is honorable to invite the TNA to join the government knowing that they are LTTEers. Even CBK would have done the same thing if she was short of members in the parliament. But Ranil did not do that during his time. What a song and dance, the SLFP, JVP, JHU would have had if Ranil invited TNA to join his govt.
Now a question: with so many billions of money spent, so many deaths, so much inconvenience and so many missed opportunities, IS SL ANY BETTER THAN 3 YEARS AGO?
