I wonder if you remember,when I met you in your home in Kandy,with respect to this subject,you never said a word to comfort us.We mentioned how the people of the town have lost their liberty,due to the unnecessary restrictions imposed on the people,in the name of security of the state,where as ministers visit so many times in a year to Kandy,town is forced to close,thus depriving it`s citizens a fair chance to run their business and livelihoods.How do you like if you are forced to close your gem shops 50 times a year?You ministers are trampling our liberties,use the present security situation as a convenience to do their dirty work.Our human rights are violated,for the convenience of the likes of you.Why on earth do you come to Kandy to meet the Mahanayakayas and are they part of the democratic system of the government?Perhaps the President could give them a home close to the Parliament,perhaps you ministers have nothing better to do?
