Individual wrong-doers are punished every where more so in Singapore. There are Sinhalese, Muslims and Tamils of Sri Lanka who rush to work in S`pore. I saw many SL maids in the houses and flats that I visited.
In Sri Lanka entire Tamil speaking community is condemned by Sinhala ONLY. Recently `divide and rule` policy gave temporary reprieve to Muslims and lately to Eastern Tamils to isolate Tamils of Jaffna. Sinhalese elitists learnt this dirty trick from our past colonial masters. THe new colonial masters are making a mess of everything by making their duplicity publicised by making MOUs and agreements only to annul them before the ink dries on those documents.
Nowhere in other countries a particular language is the ONLY Official Language.
