IF you want PEACE then leave the country!!. No peace loving citizen lives in SL. The ones who want it are a minority. The rest have elected and supported leaders who want WAR. So stop shedding your damn crocodile tears. I am not there so dont care. From 1983 to 2005 I promoted peace. With the end of the CFA i realised the only reason it failed is not cos of GOSL, not cos of LTTE, not cos of IC but it is because of the sri lankan civilians who live there!!. If they wanted peace then they should have risen up and held their leaders accountable. The fact they didnt and voted, supported (in the case of GOSL) and allowed (in the case of LTTE) to adopt a strategy for WAR now they should face the consequences. I dont have any sympathy for Sri lankan civilians. They allowed this war. Society is responsible for how its governed. The same goes for most western nations today. If you allow your leaders to invade countries illegally and impose anarchy in their door steps then dont cry when it comes to your door step. |
