[A Case of the Lying Bishop ]
(January 5) In the case of the Iluppaikadavai bombing of the Sea Tiger base, the Bishop of Mannar has chosen to lie barefacedly. Rushing the injured from there to Kilinochchi is a totally unbelievable story, not only distance-wise but also terrain-wise. The Tigers had no alternative but to rush them there because they were Tiger cadres and many of them children. It is absolutely shameful for a religious prelate to take such a stand. He has always been known as intensely pro-Tiger but in this case, he is even trying to give an impression so brazenly and blatantly not only to protect a murderous brand of terrorists but also throw dirt on the government. Men in holy orders must know their place but certainly never ever near a band of murdering vampires.
