Let me wish you all a Happy New Year and hope sincere that this new year will bring peace to Sri lanka and all the Tamil and sinhala groups involved into this unwanted and stupid war will stop for the interest of coming generation of this Island.
This small coconut Island but beautiful paradise should not be used for a religious or ethnic war . People who ignore the consequences of this war are real idiots and damn fools ( Tamils and sinhalese extremists including the gouvernment ). Instead of buying and stocking all sorts of military weapons should be stopped and start peace talks . However, if military officers feels that they could wipe out Tigers or Tamils , this will be a real day time dream and but if they want to earn more money by selling the same weapons to Tigers , is another black market beusiness. in which gouvernment is scared to intervene. The present war helped many militiary generals or commanders to build luxary houses in t he south and the gouvernment knew long time ago. This is sri Lanka now but will this new year 2007 bring any peace???????? |
