[Is it true that he was critical of the LTTE also? Even though he aligned with the TNA?] He was one of the more open TNA MPs in the TNA parliamentery group. He was critical of child soldiering of the LTTE. He was there among the Sinhalese MPs who were against war (people like Vasudeva etc.). This clearly shows he was an easy target for extremism. Have you heard the term Back benchers? They are the politicians who would even be critical on their own parties wrong steps. He was a kind of a Back bencher. I am not surprised that LTTE took his life just to incite all the troubles as possible also to warn the TNA that they are under scrutiny if they don`t obey LTTE terroism. If TNA puppets had someone who was not so puppetry then that man`s life was taken. This is how the terrorism work. Its sad but its true. JRJ |
