[Instead the Sri Lankan Parliament should adopt a resolution without further delay to replace the present unitary Constitution with federal or quasi federal Constitution that will meet the legitimate aspirations of the Tamil people in the island.]
Sri Lankan parlimant will adopt a resolution taking the consensus of the Political parties who are working towards to bring a political solution to the problem. It does not have to be exactly the Indian model since Indian federalism did not have to go through terrorism.
In Sri Lanka, since it is not only the language spoken , the race ,but also the religion plays a big role in the division of North and East from the rest of the country it has to be a devolution of power fair by all communities involved than a formula to be adopted from India.
Tamil Terrorists playing the card of Racism expelled every Muslim from the North. So how could the Terrorists be given the power to terrorize and dictate the lives of Muslims in the East?
