Another photo on Yahoo on the same subject shows a Female Soldier of STF. I wasn`t aware that there were woman fighting on Both Sides!]
The Sri Lankan army does have women in their ranks although I doubt they actually go for combat!! They are more like `home guards`....The women cadres in the LTTE though are known to be heavily invovled in combat...
