according to srilankan government official news website in myhamaai battle only 22 soldiers killed and 113 injured . and mahinda Rajapaksha went to two of the funarals. http://www.news.lk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=980&Itemid=44 y, 16 October 2006 President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited to the funeral houses on last Saturday for final rites to two soldiers who died in the Muhamalai attack on last Wednesday. The two dead solders that President paid his last respect were H M Nandasiri residence in Nawagamuwa in Anamaduwa.and Jayasurendra in Sangappaliya on Galgamuwa area. President was set motion on Muhamalai incident, which took 22 soldiers, sacrificed their lives whilst 113 being wounded military reversal, president asked from the ministers to visit to pay last respect and full State assistance for final rites. |
