Going by the numbers still more terrorits were killed compred to SLA.
If one wages a war one has to be prepared for some losses too. Still there is no way out unless the offenseve is continued till the goals are achiecved. One soldier per terrorist still the SLA will prevail at the end. here it looks more like 2 terrorists per soldier. On a purely military point of view SLA had the better day. Unless there is more casualty on the LTTE this may effect the moral of the SLA adversly and the grip that the SLA has on the war should not be let loose for a minor loss like this. |
