Since you are an `expert` in this matter, can you tell me how did you conduct your research? Paul: I read all the news papers that came out within couples of years from the Colombo based news houses. Tamil: Anything else! Paul: Since, you are a pain in my neck! I will tell you more, my friend. I traveled in all the trouble waters and I saw things. Finally, I combined all the facts and drew my own conclusion. Tamil: Did you have any chance to live in Northern and Eastern parts of Island for, let`s say, at least a year? Paul: North and East! Are you crazy, man? I didn`t see any five stars hotels there. Tamil: Did you interview any Tamils in North and East, at least in South? Paul: Can you count Douglas Devanatha and V.Anandasangaree as Tamils? Tamil: I doubt it! Since, you are a crooked intellectual I like to ask a question. Paul: That is a only thing you are doing since we met. Tamil: Let`s say, When a few armed men killed 13 soldiers, what a `democratically elected` Government should have done? Paul: I don`t know! Go after those armed men? I guess. Tamil: Do you know what happened in 56, 77, and 83? Paul: Sri Lanka won Cricket World Cup? Tamil: Do you know how we felt when Sinhalese Governments had driven out Tamils from their lands to colonize the East? Paul: Colonized the East! I thought British Empire had ended those policies in 1948. Wait! Who colonized...what? Tamil: I have to leave now! It seems to me you have to do some real homeworks. Paul: Wait! Where are you going now? Who will answer to these questions? Can I ask Sangaree? |
