Aani seems to be confused with the indo-lanka accord and the modes oprarandi of VP....to archive the goal..
1-indo-lanka accord should have included the tamil reps.. 2-india knows very well about the vaddukodai resolution and the subsequent election verdict in 1977 before entering into and agreement with the gosl.(indo-lanka accord) 3- if india had come to save the tamils, they should have included the tamils. 4-india is still a weak giant country in south Asia compare to srilanka. 5-india uses our cause to put their points across to colombo..but unable to move colombo an inch from colombo`s position vis- a vis the eelam issue or about the geographical and strategic interests.. 6-at the end of the day, it is us the tamils and the sinhalas need to share the country divided or not divided. if we had no political military power for our selves in the demarcated areas, we just have to be subordinates..because India could not even pursued Colombo to safe guard even their interests.. given these scenarios, what VP could have done?? |
