[In 2002,, a set of low caste Nallavar boys tried to swimm in the Parallai Murugan Kovil pond. This is a common thing in rainy seasons. Pannkam vellalar (who also swim in the same pond) who controls the swim opposed and fight started. A nallavar boy lost his arm.
A complain was made to Illvalai Police.]
