[ICRC accepts 25 bodies of Army personnel
[[[(Lanka-e-News, Dec.18, 2008, 4.25 PM)]]] LTTE handed over the bodies of 25 Army personnel who were killed in clashes on December 16 at Kilinochchi and Muhamalai to the ICRC today (18), said a spokesperson of the ICRC to `Lanka-e-News`. Army also handed over the body of a LTTE cadre to ICRC. Meanwhile, the Army and the LTTE released the casualty figures of the clashes on December 16. Army says that 130 LTTE cadres were killed and 250 were injured while 25 Army personnel were killed. LTTE says that 130 Army personnel were killed and 300 were injured.
