People,
Please take a moment to pause and say a prayer to people who have died and continue to die in this war. Also take a moment to think how we can help each other. Sri Lanka is a poor country and spending all this money on war. What a waste? Try and answer the following questions: 1) Who is really benefiting out of this war ? 2) Is the war the only solutions this problem ? 3) Is there anyway to stop the spiraling of violence in Sri L lanka ? ( Riots, Torture, Bombings etc.. - Sure all this creates is death and hatred and it is shameful that this is going since 1950`s... ) 4)Be it Tamil or Sinhalese... How will you feel - if one of your loved-one who is dieing or getting tortured ? It may be due to political madness or egocentric nature f people the both sides keep fighting. At least as people who are sitting in our comfortable seats in front of the PCs should promote some peace and harmony for the troubled nations. I do not simply believe that by force or denigrating someone we can achieve peace forever. Please observe a minute of silence in memory of all Sri Lankans ( Men, Women and Children) who have died in the recent past. Also take a moment to suggest at least one solution other than war that will bring peace for prosperity for Sri Lanka, Let us work together to create internet based group that will promote peaceful live for every one across the island and live in harmony. (If Sri Lankans can immigrate and live happily in a foreign country why not in their on homeland...) May peace be with you... |
