Airlines in many countries face the downturn in air traffics and this govt choose this moment to launch a new airline that too with a plane obtained on a lease. This airline experienced heavy loses and the borrowed money is wasted on this white elephant. Even the Sri Lankan Airline is losing money on daily basis. What the president hopes to achieve may not be known to himself.
