[Tamil Nadu - Ramanathapuram Sri Lankan boat riddled with bullets found Special Correspondent RAMANATHAPURAM: In the third such incident reported at Dhanushkodi within two weeks, a mysterious Sri Lankan boat riddled by bullets was found at the Sangam Point on Tuesday. The first boat was found on November 19 and second on November 21. Though no one has come forward to claim the boat, there are indications that a few persons may have landed on the shore in the afternoon and taken away the outboard engine. However, nobody had reported at the police station or before rehabilitation authorities seeking asylum on Tuesday. The fibreglass boat was bigger than the ones found earlier. Coast Guard officials inspected the boat. Later, it was towed by an interceptor craft to the Mandapam Coast Guard station.
