How do I become a senior member?

Senior membership is NOT given based on number of posts or the age of your account. Senior members are hand picked. They are selected based on the following and more:

• Participation in all articles instead of only on head lines.
• Contributions must first sitck to the topic before drifting into discussions with members.
• Control your temper. Don't get carried away. Be modest.
• Avoud Sinhala and Tamil languages when posting.
• Strictly follow posting guidelines.

How do I change my e-mail address and password?

Use the Contact LNP form and give your current e-mail address and password along with your new email address and password.

How do I privately message another member in the forum?

Currently only MrBrown (Administrator) is able to initiate private dialogs with members. This feature may become available to all members in the future with limitations.

I received a warning when I tried posting my e-mail address on the forum

This has been a political forum for the most part. You are not allowed to post your e-mail addresses on the forum for your own good. Someone could send you an e-mail to get your computer's IP number and then use it to find where you live. All members must try to stay anonymous as possible. Do not post any email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses.

How is my privacy and identity protected?

Your login name is the only attribute shared with the public. Your actual name, e-mail addresses, IP numbers, etc are protected.
