In Halal, the animal is allowed to BLEED to Death.
Even the Western animal killing for food asks QUICK death for the animal. For example, cattle are subjected to heavy voltage electric shock before the death. Even then, most cattle understand and their behaviour change. |

In Halal, the animal is allowed to BLEED to Death.
Just imagine what the animals go through, if those butchers use blunt knives and/or other similar instruments, just after offering their prayers in the direction of Mecca.
In the U.S. also, even the supermarkets are carrying meat products, labelled as 'Halal Meat' where a lot Muslim Americans live - typically in places where you have a lot or immigrants from Pakistan, Aghanistan, etc. Only Prophet Muhammad knows how these animals are killed to get to 'Halal Meat.'

This could be all one big misunderstanding? We, the backward minded people who believe in Buddhism or Hinduism should remember the following principle from the more advanced religions associated with the signs of crescent and cross.
In Islam as in Christianity, animals are considered a less of a life in comparison to man. Man is considered created in the 'Image of God.' Even a women is not considered equal to man when it comes to spreading the message of God. Other life forms are for the man's taking. That is why we would have never come up with an invention called the Bic Mac, cheesburger or the Quarter Pounder. There are thousands of cattle slaughtered every day in North America and South America to meet the daily beef needs of McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, etc.
