Well!
I see a few thinggs here.

1.
The African music has got diluted with the passage of time.

2.
Even as recently as 20 years ago- there were guys from this community in the SL Police - mainly in the Mounted Police. (riding -or trainingHorses)

3. The use of word Kaffir here in SA attracts heavy fines -and even jail terms!
:)

Once we were coming back from a Surveying trip from Anuradapura and we stopped off at a famous restaurant, (sorry cant remember the name of the town right now,) but there was this very beautiful girl working as a waitress there who had Afro Hair looked very light skinned. I was quite intrigued by her looks, so I called her over and asked her where she was born, she told me she was born in SL and her parentage was African, got to say I was very surprised as she spoke perfect Sinhalese. She reminded me of one of my old West Indian girl friends from back in the day. :))

At least these people have assimilated well in to the Sinhalese culture over the years, where else these sharia rabble in the U.K. want to build dirty exclusive sharia ghettos that no one wants, have a look at these links.

Checkout the comment sections at the end, I can't see the Brits being stoic for too long while this trash try to lay down the law to them in their own country.

Baxz,
Good observation.

I think the Sinhala word 'Kapiri' has derived from 'Kafir'.

Even as recently as 20 years ago- there were guys from this community in the SL Police - mainly in the Mounted Police. (riding -or trainingHorses)

wow ! never seen them . Last time when i flew home saw few mounted police in front of the Cargills in Colombo fort.

I saw some bizarre sort of old rusted buses in a road in a remote village in Hambantota , 'Angunakola palasse' . People call these 'Kapiri bus' old military personal careers used in british time to transport African origin soldiers.

Thivya,
I think we have a Kaffir member in LNP.

Like you and me , nothing special about it , isn't it ? :)

Joe,
She reminded me of one of my old West Indian girl friends from back in the day. :))

Hey Empo, all true dude, but You forgot the BMW man, 'Black Mans Wheels' a cardinal sin if you ask me forgetting to mention the wheels.

As it happens went out with the same girl on New Years eve to a party to celebrate, still friends with her even after 35 years. As for the weed..? gave that up long ago, more in to the meditation these days.
