Other than toilet cleaning jobs, which meant for tamils, no other decent job freely available.

Not to be rude, but these morons think they got everything and they are kings and queens when they get the pass to enter sri lankan universities.....once they are there do nothing but partying not realizing what coming on their way in four years smarter once do much more than looking for a girl friend or boy friend while they are in the universities 99% of these clowns are out of townies I don t see any from Colombo schools do these kinds of shi**

These fellow select easy subjects, commerce subjects, for the sake of get through A/L to get into the university
Also continue with the same subjects for the degree too and come out as commerce graduates. What they want is a degree.

I don't think that is the case, I think they have no choice but to select those AL subject based on what their OL results were...may be I am wrong.. I never took OL or AL in sri lanka.
say they some how got into the uni, which is not an easy thing to do.
the problem is once they get there they are not using the brain for good use.
they must focus on getting some kind of certification, chartered, CIMA, or any other trade certification while learning English....very important, English is a must..

In schools, universities, government run institutions the unrest keeps on increasing over the year.
The reason is government incompetence (z-score etc.) and bad economic situation (CEB, futa etc..).
UPFA should pay attention specially on the country economy else eventually it would end up in JVP 3.0.
They can no longer play the patriotism, war wins to hide these issues. |
