This is the patriotism these two puppies boast about and their services to the Motherland, a real ammage kathawa.
While doing higher studies abroad how to plunder motherlanka they also talk of serving the motherland.
These buggers will continue to burn in hell for ever:
Tickets pilfered, sold to the Black market:
According to the personnel of sports circles in Sri Lanka, the National Olympic Committee London had allocated tickets to the tune of Rs 70 lakhs for Sri Lankan sports enthusiasts, the opportunity to watch the London Olympics 2012 and to support and cheer our participants. However unfortunately none had got the opportunity to purchase a ticket to go and watch the London Olympics 2012.No one has given a proper answer as to what happened to these tickets.
As usual it is presumed that corrupt responsible officers may have sold the tickets sent to the black market by selling to a foreigner in favour of his or their pockets.
When the Minister of Sports was posed with this question he had quipped in order to escape from blame that it may have occurred owing to a mistake of an official attached to the National Olympic Committee. The officials of the London Olympic Committee 2012 had sent these tickets to enable for those interested to purchase these tickets to watch and cheer our members who took part on various disciplines.
Unfortunately the black market racket had deprived a single interested Sri Lankan to go to London to watch the Olympic Games. But it had resulted in the misappropriation of funds through sale of these tickets via illegal means. This had had not allowed a single Sri Lankan to proceed to London to support and cheer our participants and to watch the Olympic games other those Sri Lankans resident in London.
It is very shameful as our participants took part in their respective events totally isolated without the support of Sri Lankans, particularly as they failed to make an impact against the stronger opponents in the respective disciplines.
It is a real shame for pocketing the money by our officials of the Olympic committee meant for sale of tickets for those interested in watching the London Olympics 2012.A ticket had ranged from Sterling pounds 35 to 200.Tickets to the tune of Rs 70 lakhs were sent for sale of the Sri Lankans sports enthusiasts. The President of the Olympic Committee had quipped that he was unaware as to who purchased these tickets. |

China has called on Sri Lanka to release 37 Chinese fishermen detained by the Sri Lankan navy, China's Xinhua state news agency reported on Monday, in a case that could test increasingly close ties between Beijing and Colombo.
Sri Lanka's navy arrested the fishermen on Sunday night. They were aboard two trawlers off the Sri Lankan east coast town of Batticaloa, Xinhua said.
The navy arrested them for fishing in Sri Lankan waters and they would be handed over to police for further investigation, the news agency reported.
'The Chinese embassy ... has urged Sri Lankan authorities to handle the issue in accordance with the law, sort out the truth and release the Chinese fishermen as soon as possible,' Xinhua said.

This is what the master of filth said. Would he care to tell us that it is NOT wrong to insult family and parents using raw filth?

Lankan journos cut off from the athletes
The Lankan journalists who are in London for the coverage of the 30th Olympic Games are in a spot of bother. They are almost cut off from the rest of the contingent who are at the games. Right now almost all the Lankan events are over. Only the marathon remains and that would come on the penultimate day of the games. Still the reporters are to get a single chance of meeting the Lankan athletes, barring the general meetings that all the reporters have after their respective events.
Most of the discussions with the officials are done over the phone and even the NOC official who are there to assist the journalists has visited the media centre only on three occasions.
At the same time though there is a rumpus about the number of persons who have are/were in London for the games, at some events only the sole team leader Rear Admiral Shemal Fernando was present. But at the opening ceremony there were about four other officials marching along with the Lankan contingent.
Meanwhile Chief-de-mission Deva Henry commenting about the purchasing of tickets by the NOC said every country has their quota of tickets and Sri Lanka was allocated less than two hundred tickets (He could not remember the final count off-hand). We purchased them in Colombo and we sold them in Colombo. Only one ticket remained where a person who booked the ticket but failed to obtain the visa and did not pay for the ticket .
However Deva Henry denied the knowledge of the existence of a list of seventy three names which we are in possession of. |
