MR did not want war.
Of course,nobody wants war! None of the presidents, JRJ, Premaya, CBK wanted to go for war with LTTE! It is no secret!
It is Velu who wanted war.
So we know and he wanted war and MR is the ONLY president who gave him a MEANINGFUL war! Everybody knows it!
Even MJ Janaka Perera wanted to lead the war very much.
Every army commander wanted to finish the LTTE militarily, but one! I don't want to mention his name as he was a gentleman!
But, Gota and SF were friends and that is why SF got it.

Gota went the extra mile to appoint him, as even MR's cabinet refusted certify the appoinment! Finally, it was Gota's word that MR took and apponited him!

This is nothing when there are SOlar power projects of giga watts capacity go into operation, Check Germany.
Besides,this is just a drop of water when the govt is losing billions on FOSSIL FUEL - GENERATED ELECTRICITY.
Sri Lanka has DESERT like areas. DAY TIME is very SUNNY. Sri Lanka can start SOLAR CELL FARMS to GENERATE POWER. But, nothing has done for the last SEVEN YEARS. |

YAPAPATUNA was captured during CBK's time.
HEavy weapons brought during the CBK's time were used during the MR's time.
During the JRJ's time,there was no organized LTTE activity. It was just hit and run activity, killings and bank robberies.
Pemadasa's time IPKF was here and India was pro-LTTE.

IT is MR who screwed it up.
HE was so insecure about SF's success. Besides, MR should have understood that what he had done would come back. Because all other politicians were waiting to screw him up some how. SF got caught in that politics.
