Dr. Geethanjana Mendis passes away .

Prominent Neuro Physician, Dr. Geethanjana Mendis , who headed the Sports Ministry Medicine Unit of for several years passed away this morning. He had been suffering from a heart ailment and passed away at a private hospital in Colombo, hospital sources said.

Dr. Mendis was the former chairman of the Sri Lanka National Anti Doping Organisation (NADO), Chairman of Medicina Alternativa (MA) as well as the head of the sports medical unit of the Sports Ministry.

How do you think Maravyn got his 'doctorate'???? This fellow Geethanjana used his influence in speaking to Anton Jayasuriya of the Homeopathy Institute and got Maravyn the 'doctorate'! Didn't you know about it????

Anton Jayasuriya-Was he a Rhematologist before he became interested in Homeopathy.
If so,I have worked with him in GH Jaffna in the sixties.
He was married to an English woman,and he was himself a maverric.
