This is the name of the Srilankan great son of 'Mother Lanka' who for the first time introduce 'Hydro Electricity' to whole Asia, as this 'Hydro Electricity' was completely limited to 'Holland' in 1950. Electricity can be generated by 'Sea', that is completely the most cheapest way, but capitol investment is very high.I believe he was not killed, but no one of the governments after completing this 'Great Job' similer to constructing 'Hoovers Dam' in U.S.A. did not honour this great man. It was a 'Brain Child' of this Srilankan graduate of engineering.Even Mahaweli was also a 'Srilankan Idea' which was funded by 'Foreign Aids'. There are a lot of Srilankan 'Experts' in various fields ,but they do not like to invest their 'Knowledge', because, as I already mentiond 'SATAN' in this regeme is not happy with them. I believe very soon all of we can see , W.A. Silva's nice novel 'Wijayaba Kollaya' will be live in Srilanka soon.

I think should be.
Any way, why there is no road building by Sri Lankan engineers. Because, Sri Lanka, should buy heavy equipment and allow the engineers to built it.
Otherwise, when Will Sri lanka develop as a country, gain knowledge on other things other than what is in the books,
People get job satisfaction which is a way to over come the constant urge for salary increases.
Govt is always go for foreign aids, and foreigners complete the projects and not by our own people ?

Yes, but not like funds in 'US dollers', but by machinery . This project was especially handled by Hon: Sir John Kotalawala.We all know the 'Guy' similer to Hon: Ronald Raygen .Not like 'Mr 10%Rajapaksas'. General Kotalawala's way is 'Not to ask why- but to do and die'.As pay respect to ' Saman Deviyo', General Kotalawala approved first electricity connection to 'Sripada'. |

Right now what the Sri Lanka govt doing is ANTI-SRI LANKAN.
They every one is making their personal savings account in the SWISS NATIONAL BANK A MIRACLE.

Friend it is not a surprise.Did you ever notice how a Srilankan politician comes to your residence at his 'First Trial Election'. I will discribe you my experience, guy comes by a 'Push Cycle' wearing a 'Podi wechha Natu Baniyama' with a pair of 'Bathroom Slippers'. If he wins and goes to 'Parliament' he will return by an 'Intercooler' and you cannot reach him even.That is why educated people suggest 'Politics' should not be a pensionable monthly paid job, but a 'Social Service' just pay 'Expenses' approved by the parliament. |
