A foundation stone was laid today in Kolonnawa for the erection of a statue of slain Presidential Advisor Baratha Lakshman Premachandra. Speaker Chamal Rajapakse was the chief guest of the event. Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva, MP Namal Rajapaksa, Karu Jayasuriya and a host of other dignitaries participated in the ceremony.

Cabinet Spokesman Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said today that the 2011 Advanced Level issue is not the biggest blunder in the country's history but that it can be termed as a blunder. The minister made these remarks addressing the weekly cabinet press briefing.
Don't worry Rambuk uncle.
Sri Lankans are sooooooooooooo used to such things. The whole country is a blunder so why worry about this small thing?
