FTZ- killings, then Fisherman killing and then JVP rally killings. The Way of controlling any opposition to kingdom. After killings, visit their families and offer 1-2 lacks to poor families to keep their mouth shut.

King and Company can fool it's own, but can not fool the world.

Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa and National People's Congress (NPC) of China Standing Committee chairman WU Bangguo viewed that the traditional and strong relations between Sri Lanka and China have reached an unprecedented level of cooperation and friendship under the current leadership of the two countries, when they met in Beijing on June 13.

Speaker Rajapaksa was in China from June 9 to 17 at the invitation of Wu Bangguo.

At the bilateral discussion, the Speaker said he was pleased to visit China this particular year as Sri Lanka and China celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and also the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Rubber Rice Pact.

He thanked China for the support extended to Sri Lanka in the fight against terrorism and acknowledged that in the post- conflict era, China has become the largest economic partner of Sri Lanka.

He said Sri Lanka has identified China as a potential tourism market and believed that the number of Chinese tourists visiting Sri Lanka would greatly increase in the near future.

Chairman Bangguo said he considered Speaker Rajapaksa's visit as an embodiment of the high attention China attaches to her relations with Sri Lanka, a traditional and genuine friend of China.

Having acknowledged the two countries have seen an ever stronger political mutual trust, fruitful economic and trade cooperation as well as close exchanges in the areas of culture, technology and education, Wu Bangguo noted with appreciation the two countries have maintained good communication and coordination in the UN and other multilateral bodies as well.

He assured China would continue to work closely with Sri Lanka on matters of mutual interests.

Bangguo said China treats Sri Lanka as an equal partner and China's support for Sri Lanka's development process is based on Sri Lanka's domestic needs and stressed that China's support attaches no conditions.

He expressed confidence that Sri Lanka has the capacity to overcome the difficulties and achieve economic recovery and growth and that China will continue to extend its support for Sri Lanka fast tracked economic development programme.

Speaker Rajapaksa commended China's impressive economic growth momentum which helps transferring benefits to many developing nations including Sri Lanka.
