I cannot believe you simply repeat TamilNet mantra just like a parrot.

Don't be stupid to say that I simply repeat tamilnet, in fact I don't even read that. Yes I have to be a parrot because most of the sinhalas forget their past misdeed (also the present misdeeds) and try to cling onto some convenient stupid excuse to justify their crimes.
For vast majority, sinhala history (convenient history) starts after 1983 with LTTE violence. Even thogh they howl about their 2500 yera old culture and civilization when it comes to shameless violence they erase the past and start with post 83 violence.
Just look at 2009. I donlt blame the sinhala guys for destroying the LTTE as they had no choice but the way they did to dead corpses and the captives, especially female cadres. They were stripped, raped, and then murdered, the most uncivilised and inhuman act any one can do? They showed absolutely no dignity at all for dead or dying humans or human bodies. The allowed the dead bodies to be eaten by animals. Is it Buddism, fckng hell, it is certainly no?
But I also admit that they would have done the same thing to sinhalese too so their cruel behaviour is beyond racism and it is in the BLOOD.
So NeverAgain, every time you talk of Tamil (or LTTE) militancy as the worse crime then some one can has to remind you like a parrot, otherwise you will forget or ignore for your convenience.
The parrot has to always remind you that sinhalays have done more serious and shameless crimes to tamils than the other way around and they laid the foundation for this cycle of violence.

I do agree there were some discriminatory practices but it seems like tamils started the separatism well before British left. Besides there was never a reason for taking up arms.

We have heard this story about raping and murdering female cardres many times. You repeat what most other diaspora say without proof. You can be different and admit the atrocities of LTTE without going along. We will admit all the mistakes we made. Right now, there is not a single tamil who admits the errors of LTTE and saying that it was a mistake to take up arms.
This is no way for any reconciliation. There is no future with the current status of affairs. |
